In a turmoil-torn Argentina, in the summer of 1978, Edgar Tulio Valenzuela (Tucho) and Raquel Negro (María), heavily pregnant with a young son, are kidnapped by the Armed Forces and taken to the outskirts of Rosario. A high-ranking Argentine Army officer makes Tucho a proposal that, if he follows it, will betray the ideals to which he dedicated his life.
